Wendy Schubert Hoersting, DNAP, MBS, CRNA, APRN, CNE
Wendy Schubert Hoersting, CRNA graduated with her BSN in 1992 from Bowling Green State University. After practicing as a critical care nurse at Greenville Hospital System she returned to complete her Master’s in Biomedical Science with an emphasis in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of South Carolina in 1997. Wendy received her Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia(MTSA) in 2024 and was awarded the Presidents Medal for her research on Recruitment Materials to Increase Nurses in Guyana.
Before joining the Chatham Oral Surgery, Wendy served on the pediatric and call teams at Savannah’s Memorial Health and St. Joseph/Candler hospitals. She has also served as a staff CRNA to Hilton Head Regional, Kettering Medical Center, and Dayton Children’s Hospitals.
Wendy maintains 25 + years of anesthesia certification through NBCRNA. Her state nursing licenses include the GA eCompact, OH, and SC. She is recognized by the NLN as a Certified Nurse Educator and holds an adjunct faculty position at MTSA.
Now as the parents of 2 adult children, Wendy and her husband Bob enjoy traveling and playing golf.
As an AHA instructor, she offers BLS, ACLS, and PALS training.
